Tea Tree Oil - melaleuca oil is a pure plant essential oil that I've used in my family's care for 30+ years & for various applications.

  • Tea Tree Oil can be applied undiluted to skin (2+ years to adult) as a disinfectant, and offers anti bacterial, anti fungal anti parasitic properties for topical use.
  • 1 drop added to toothpaste on a toothbrush daily (adult use only) removes stains from teeth and reduces plaque buildup & aids reversal of gingivitis gum disease.
  •  Tea Tree Oil can be an effective wart treatment (ages 2 yrs to adult) by applying a drop to the wart and covering with a bandage every a.m. and p.m. Warts are viral, almost parasitic and will drop out of the affected skin area on feet or fingers when used consistently - it takes for to 8 weeks of failthul 2X daily application.
  • Tea Tree Oil can be used as an antibacterial agent to apply to tick removal sites or tick bites.
  • Tea Tree Oil can be applied to ringworm skin rashes as ringworm is a fungal infection that TTO is effective in clearing up.

ALWAYS do a skin patch test to ensure suitability to skin especially for sensitive skin. KEEP from eyes and mucus membranes. KEEP from reach of children.

Stillroom Shoppe Tea Tree Oil is fitted with a child resistant cap but do ensure it is stored & kept out of reach of young children.

Ingesting bottled essential oils is never suggested here. That is a liver and kidney toxicity load & bottled plant essential oils are NOT for ingestion purposes.

  • We do not live in panic about ticks.
Being outside in Nature is far more important than living in fear of bugs.
    This is how we roll.
First we apply Lemon Eucalyptus OUTDOOR Spray to deter ticks, critters + mosquitoes + blackflies.
It's suited for ages 2yrs to Adult + PETS.
We spray our dogs everywhere except the head as we don't want it in their eyes.
For under 2 yrs see our Lavender Floral Water (mist on stroller blankets or on hands than pat on clothing)

AFTER outside time, we use a sticky lint roller to roll clothing to ensure we haven't got any hitchhikers.. then we check the childrens' necks arms backs legs + feet quickly looking for tiny specks of pepper (thats how small ticks are when they're not full grown) we also roll our 2 dogs fur with the sticky lint roller - look for tiny black or red dots the size of pepper specks ~ then we check our dogs foreheads, back, neck underbelly + between toes. Ticks like the warm body spots.

If all checks out, as clear, we carry on with our day.

If, we find a tick on our pets then or later, we remove it with tweezers + apply drops off Tea Tree Oil.
We discard the tick in an outside garbage after crushing it. We disinfect the tweezers- we keep a kit for this purpose at our back door.

If we find a tick by chance that's bitten the skin of the children or adult, we remove it and apply Tea Tree Oil. We then decide whether to begin a course of Echinacea Extract for 1 to 2 weeks to defend against bacteria.

We do not get ticks tested.
We do not save the tick in a jar.
    We do not fret.
If a bullseye rash happens to appear anywhere on the skin, we deal with that with disinfecting Herb First Care several times a day to banish itch & irritation + monitor.
We also continue with Echinacea Extract if deemed needed.

We practice this all Spring Summer + Fall.

    That's how we roll.

We harvest outside for hours on end.
    Our pets are farm dogs.
    We spend much time outside.
