Why I prefer plant based extract/liquid herbals:
Commercial manufactured supplements have many problems, making them less-than-ideal solutions for conscious, alert parents & families who are concerned about less than desirable ingredients & not getting the recommended nutrients from their daily eating habits.
Commercial manufactured supplements have:
- Added refined sugar in large amounts
- Are VERY difficult to digest
- Supplements are made with synthetic vitamins and minerals, which are not well absorbed (only around 10% actually gets used by the body)
- High amounts of isolated vitamins making them out of balance (certain nutrients “compete” in the body, and one prevents absorption of another).
- Ingredients that we don’t trust or want like fillers and flow agents
- Many are made with stearates, which bind with the nutrients, making them less well-absorbed (especially gummy varieties).
- Many can be dangerous in isolation, leading to a deficiency of another vitamin.
- Are very often a low quality product containing lipsomal or nanotech delivery systems which is not needed with raw real plant ingredients which are easily digested in minutes.
Common Questions:
The amount of vitamins/minerals in the tincture is lower, compared to what you buy as standardized commercial manufactured vitamins in the store. Why?
- Nourish Us is a whole food PLANT source of vitamins & minerals.
- That means natural total amounts and natural ratios of properties, including vitamins.
- Because of that, each amount is naturally lower than that of isolated sythetic chemical mega doses.
- The body recognizes and use these amounts more effectively than chemical synthetic options. It is called bioavailability. With mega doses and isolated synthetics, the body wastes a considerable amount.
How does an herbal multivitamin work?
- Commercial manufactured vitamins in pill form are full of binders and fillers to make them keep their shape and hold all of the ingredients together. Nourish Us herbal vitamin support is made without binders and fillers making them easy to digest. Plus, the vitamins you get are from real food sources and not synthetic making them more biologically friendly to your body.
