Stillroom Barley Bag for hot use:

For microwave use, simply heat at 30-second intervals, up to a maximum of 2 minutes. It is absolutely essential to put a mug with some water in it in the microwave at the same time as you heat your hot pack. Without it, your pack could possibly burn or catch fire, and you can damage your microwave oven.

Shake bag well to distribute the heat. 

* Always check the temperature before use.

(if you do not use a microwave, wrap barley bag in parchment paper place on cookie sheet in preheated oven at 150 degrees f for 10 minutes + check it. Monitor closely the first time you try this.) 

 

Give the bag a good rub between your hands to re-awaken the gentle floral aromatics periodically or before each use. Store between uses in a zip lock bag.  

 

Use as a hot pack application with The Stillroom Castor Oil Pack Kit. Relieves muscle tension, stress and anxiety.

 

Stillroom Barley Bag for cold use: 

Place in a freezer bag and use as a cold compress on bruises, sprains and sore limbs. Reduces inflammation, migraines and other pain.
